Mr. Ricci is responsible for managing the company’s worldwide solar development activities. As a member of the company’s founding group, he has originated and managed the company's wind and thermal energy development businesses in the Eastern U.S., Texas and Canada. He has over 25 years of broad experience in the power generation field including business development, project development, energy marketing, engineering and construction. Mr. Ricci has been responsible for the successful creation of over 4,100 megawatts of thermal and renewable energy projects representing over $2.5 billion in capital costs. Prior to joining Invenergy, Mr. Ricci was Vice President of Business Development for SkyGen Energy LLC and subsequently for Calpine Corporation (post acquisition of SkyGen). Before joining SkyGen, Mr. Ricci was Director of Business Development at Kvaerner EnviroPower, Inc. where he guided the company’s business development activities in the solid fuel generation market, and previously managed business development for Clark-Kenith, Inc., a developer and constructor of waste-to-energy facilities. Early in his career, Mr. Ricci was a senior mechanical engineer for Bechtel Power Corporation. Mr. Ricci is based in the company’s Washington DC area regional office. Education: MBA from Johns Hopkins University, with a concentration in Finance; BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. |
