Administrative Assistant - Chicago, IL

 

Invenergy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of renewable and natural gas power generation facilities, located in the downtown Chicago, seeks a highly organized individual to support several key functions of the company. The qualified individual will provide administrative assistance for the Asset Management, Corporate Tax and Office Management teams.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Create documents and presentations, scan, fax, file, distribute mail and prepare mailings with special instructions, e.g., FedEx.

  • Make travel arrangements; maintain calendars, complete expense reports and schedule meetings.

  • Participate in the maintenance of the company’s document management system.

  • Distribute invoices and purchase orders, code invoices to ensure that they are allocated to specific projects and verify credit card charges to ensure that there is supporting documentation for all expenses.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years administrative experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.

  • Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.

  • Professional, able to maintain confidential information and team oriented.

  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.

  • Able to prioritize assignments, multi-task, and re-prioritize assignments as needed.

  • Strong initiative and focused on process improvement.

  • Desire and aptitude to learn and understand the Energy/ Utilities Industry.
