Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator - Chicago, IL

 

Invenergy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of power generation and energy delivery assets, headquartered in downtown Chicago, seeks an energetic and experienced Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator and Maintenance Planner.  This position is located at our Control Center in Lombard, IL.

 

The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator and Maintenance Planner has the responsibility of managing the CMMS/EAM system and will report to the Director, Asset Management.

 

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Standardize and manage fleet-wide CMMS/EAM system (Infor’s EAM program).

  • Develop, standardize, and implement EAM instructions regarding Preventative Maintenance Programs and Environmental Health & Safety Programs.

  • Interface with Invenergy fleet regarding EAM questions and program usage.  Engage site personnel to optimize program efficiency and ease of use.

  • Conduct training with site personnel to enhance EAM program knowledge and usage.

  • Prepare reports as necessary such as parts usage, safety compliance, work order completion, preventative maintenance work reports, and other logs.

  • Analyze fleet-wide maintenance trends, parts usage, inventory turns, and initiate and support maintenance optimization efforts.

  • Assist site personnel in the creating and updating detailed maintenance, safety, and environmental documentation.

  • Engage the Asset Management team on cost saving initiatives and fleet maintenance performance.

  • Engage Safety Department to ensure the tracking and compliance of all standards

  • Develop and track KPI’s for the Invenergy fleet and identify deficiencies.

  •  Interface with Infor to resolve EAM program difficulties.

  

Job Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in a position with the implementation and utilization of a CMMS; experience with Infor’s EAM system a plus.

  • Extensive experience in maintenance and operations planning.

  • Previous experience writing reports and developing KPI’s is required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with all level of personnel from technicians to upper management.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Able to travel 20% of the time.
