Human Resources Generalist - Chicago, IL
 

Invenergy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of power generation and energy delivery assets, located in the downtown Chicago, seeks a high energy individual for the Human Resources division.  This position is on the front line of servicing and interacting with employees in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This includes both hands-on and strategic responsibilities in providing expertise across all areas of Human Resources.

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

 

·          Support the Director of Human Resources, in all key areas of Human Resources.

·          Provide assistance to the Human Resources division in benefits administration.

·          Participate in recruitment activities for corporate and regional offices.

·          Participate in recruitment activities for all North American energy center staffing.

·          Collaborate on the development of Human Resources policies and procedures.

·          Assist with coordinating training and development events.

 

Job Requirements:

 

·          Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

·          Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in an entrepreneurial environment.

·          Desire to learn and understand the Energy industry.

·          Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem solving skills.

·          Exceptionally well organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects    simultaneously.

·          Possess a high degree of confidentiality.

·          Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.

·          Excellent communication skills.

·          Proficient at an intermediate level in Windows Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·          Travel 10 – 15% on an as needed basis.
