Invenergy LLC,
a developer, owner and operator of renewable and natural gas power
generation facilities, located in the downtown Chicago, is currently looking
to hire an OSIsoft PI System Administrator. This position is in our control
center located in Lombard, IL.
Responsibilities will include the following:

Manage
and maintain the OSIsoft PI infrastructure.

Engage with the OSIsoft Network
Operations Center (NOC) to maintain and improve the health and
availability of all PI servers and interfaces.

Oversee the process of tag and alert creation for all production servers
and other IT critical infrastructure.

Employ analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills to improve PI
usage and drive overall business and systems performance.

Validate current PI architecture and ensure all additions and
modifications are scalable.

Research, evaluate and stay current on latest PI tools and technologies.
-
Report, manage and accurately document all PI problems leveraging the
OSIsoft support systems.

Ensure the PI environment addresses business requirements.

Mentor team members on new PI technologies, tools, processes and
standards.

Create and maintain standard operation procedures for basic PI
administrative tasks.

Leverage OSIsoft documentation and best practices.
-
Collaborate on Business Intelligence initiatives.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Reuirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related
degree plus 3 – 5 years experience with PI system administration.

Possess experience using PI client tools and PI system management tools.
-
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus.
