Invenergy has an impressive dedication to - and exemplary track record in – its project operations. The company is a long-term owner and operator, with an outstanding industry turbine availability rate and a superior safety record.
Key to the company’s success is the Invenergy Control Center (ICC), a state-of-the-art, utility-scale operations facility. Through it, the company has centralized the monitoring, dispatch, and control of its North American wind and solar energy generation facilities. The Center is Invenergy’s main liaison to power markets, off-takers, and transmission providers both as required in real-time, as well as for future planning.
The Center ensures smooth facility operations no matter what the circumstance - including grid constraints, scheduled outages, and changing weather patterns – to achieve uniformity and efficiency throughout the fleet. The ICC is located in Lombard, Illinois, less than 20 miles west of Invenergy’s corporate headquarters in Chicago. It is staffed around-the-clock, seven days a week.
